In my first ever movie project I'm very happy with how it came out. This was my first time ever filming and editing but there are still aspects of filming I need to work on. One major one working on the steadiness of the camera. With more practice and work with a camera I think this is something that can be fixed over time. In the film itself I sometimes zoomed into the plushie by moving closer to it myself. I did this without knowing the ability to zoom in while editing. Editing was like a whole new world to me. I had no idea what I was doing but just playing around with what I could find and add to my video. I just wanted to play around and see what things I could do or change to kind of create a creative short video. I definitely came out of this film with a lot more knowledge of editing and what I could actually do to a film. I'm very exited to continue to make these videos and see what I can do.

My second plushie film is a little longer than my first one. This might have to do with the idea of my storyboard. I made and followed a storyboard this time with the plushie making it easier to be more creative with this film which was a plus. Looking back at the project the filming of the scenes could have been a more clean and better job. Some of the scenes were sloppy which caused a problem editing them or just completely leaving them out the story. This might have led to cuts to places that didn't make sense or a poor cropping job. I wasn't able to get full time on this film so there are some places without sound where there was no time to edit in. On the plus I got to practice more with slow motion and speed on my film. Along with other things you can do in edit like cropping, effects, transitions, and more. Being able to work on this film and follow a story board and vision of what it wanted to look or seem like gave me a lot of practice that will help later on in filming.

In my first interview I was working on making it a solid interview. I cut out all of me asking the questions and just had Lucy's responses. It was my first time practicing with b-roll and using it effectively. I just used basic pics off the web to use the b-roll. For future more important fils is when I can add my own film or more in depth film for the b-roll. The interview only needed to be a minute long so it was good practicing working on cutting out the unimportant moments, including long pauses/responses, irrelevant questions and answers, out of place responses, and etc. An important note I want to make is I had to borrow this interview since I wasn't here when the interviews where conducted. I wasn't able to ask the questions myself or be interviewed myself.

In my second interview I was able to ask the questions and was even interviewed myself. Nothing really changed in my editing of the interview. I cut out all the questions, made the interview 1 minute using the same methods as before, and I was on a deadline to finish so again just basic b-rolls to edit out all the jump cuts. Another note to make was the sound is kind of quiet throughout the interview. All in all though nothing much changed in my second interview but I got more practice with some basic editing skills.
